Ford Focus Loud Engine Noise When Accelerating
Ford Focus Loud Engine Noise When Accelerating. You will need to define if this noise appears suddenly and if it. The grinding noise occurs at low speeds as one accelerates from zero mph.
In fact, if you encounter a noise that is louder and louder when you accelerate, it can come from a faulty turbo that will create a much higher noise than during normal process. I'm getting a whirring sound when accelerating in my ford focus 1.8tdci. The ford focus may be excessively loud as you accelerate due to errors in the emissions system or failing exhaust parts.
It’s Loud But Not Too Loud And Only Happens When I Coast, It Doesn’t Happen On Throttle.
The grinding noise occurs at low speeds as one accelerates from zero mph. My car is making loud grumbles when i accelerate, but it's not exhaust at that was just cleared and it stops making the noise in neutral even when i give it gas. The noise was still there at idle or when accelerating.

The fuel pump bracket is situated on the exhuast side of the engine, top right hand corner under a rubber sound improver, see if there is one of these fitted. Worn or otherwise compromised drive. It would appear within a few seconds and would last for probably 4,5 seconds and do it a few times.
